Who are Steve and Melody?

Steve spent twenty-one years

in the Air Force as a Special Operations Combat Controller. He served all over the globe in combat and humanitarian missions. His job physically demanding, so staying in top shape was a requirement not a luxury. Steve is now using the knowledge he gained through 21 years of military training to help you get in shape. He is a ACE Certified Personal Trainer and focuses on the idea of functional fitness over traditional cardio and weights. Steve has fine tuned his approach to help you spend less time working out and more time enjoying the benefits of being in shape.

Melody is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Certified Chef

With an A.A.S. in Culinary Arts with over 25 years of experience in the kitchen she can show you how to keep it clean and delicious. After spending years with digestive issues and eating a very low fat diet she found her body was trying to tell her it was time to change. She began researching for her own health and others in her family and discovered what Hippocrates knew, Food is Medicine! After losing her father to Parkinson’s Disease in 2009 and seeing others in her family suffer from the same symptoms, she set her focus on Prevention through Nutrition. Using her knowledge of nutrition, her experience in health coaching, and professional culinary training, she will show you how to have it all. You can Keep it Clean, Keep it Healthy, and Keep it Delicious.

Steve and Melody have turned their research, education and passion for health into what is now The Tactical Kitchen.  


Using simple techniques, fresh natural ingredients, and functional fitness specifically designed for each Bio-Individual Person, they can assist YOU in having your own Tactical Kitchen!
