Easy Mayonnaise 


One of the best ways to avoid crappy industrialized oils in things like salad dressing is to make your own Mayonnaise! 

Then you will have a healthier base to work from. It’s so easy! 

Homemade Mayonnaise

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup light olive oil, not extra virgin
  • lemon juice

Use your blender or an immersion blender. Bring all ingredients (the egg) to room temperature.

Blend the egg, garlic, mustard powder, salt. Then stream the olive oil while the blender is running until you have a thick emulsified mixture. Add the lemon juice. Whisk. Check seasonings. Now you can add more of any of the seasonings that you like.

Eat all the Fat!
